OTTAWA — Brandon Gerding is a commended student in the prestigious National Merit Scholarship Program.
Ottawa-Glandorf High School Principal Ann Ellerbrock presented Gerding with a letter of commendation from the school and the scholarship program.
Gerding, a senior at O-G, is one of 34,000 students recognized as commended students through the national scholarship program.
Commended students placed within the top 50,000 students who entered the contest by taking the 2023 preliminary SAT or National Merit Scholarship qualifying test but will not advance to the next round of the contest.
