Gala planned for Mennonite Home Communities

BLUFFTON — Mennonite Home Communities of Ohio will host its third annual gala starting at 6 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 10 at Ebenezer Mennonite Church, 8905 Columbus Grove-Bluffton Road, Bluffton.

The theme will be Boots and Bandanas, and guests are invited to dress up in Western attire.

Dinner will include pulled pork, pulled chicken, baked beans with brisket, mashed potatoes with gravy, coleslaw, corn muffins and cheesecake from City Barbeque. There will also be raffles, a silent auction and a live auction.

Tickets for the dinner and raffle can be purchased online at bit.ly/3MKPb2A or at the front desk of each MHCO campus until Oct. 4. Meal tickets will be $30 each until Sept. 30, then $35 after that. Raffle tickets are available online at three tickets for $25 or on campus for $10 each or three for $25.

The gala is a fundraising event to benefit MHCO’s Benevolent Care Fund, which helps care for older adults who have outlived their resources.
