VAN WERT CO. —The Ohio Department of Transportation will host a meeting from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Monday, Sept. 30 at the Convoy Community Building, 643 N. Main St. in Convoy to discuss three upcoming projects.
The first project will convert two intersections at U.S. 30 and state Route 49/Payne Road and at U.S. 30 and state Route 49/Convoy-Heller Road in a restrict crossing U-turn design while modifying access at the intersection of U.S. 30 and Discon-Cavett Road with construction beginning in 2027.
The second will construct an overpass on Convoy Road over U.S. 30 beginning in 2029.
The third will construct a single land roundabout at the intersection of U.S. 224 and Lincoln Highway, as well as rehabilitate the U.S. 224 bridge over the CFE railroad beginning in 2027.
The department will give a short presentation and then make all the project teams and exhibits available with an open house.
