Bluffton Fall Festival scheduled

BLUFFTON — The 19th annual Bluffton Fall Festival will be from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 28 in downtown Bluffton and various other locations.

The festival will feature free events starting with a farmer’s market to open at 8:30 a.m. at Citizens National Bank, 102 S. Main St., and Cars and Coffee at 8 at Masterpiece Signs, 902 N. Main St.

Other events include the Bluffton Crafts Festival at the Bluffton High School Gym, 106 W. College Ave., and entertainment at the Bluffton Presbyterian Church gazebo starting at noon at 112 N. Main St. There is also the annual antique tractor show at 12:30 p.m., a fishing derby at 2 p.m. and a kiddie tractor pull at 1 p.m at Maple Crest Senior Living Village at 700 Maple Crest Court.

Bluffton Hospital, 139 Garau St., will host a coffee truck, Kona Ice Treats, a kiddie train, face painting, fairytale and superhero characters and interactive activities for kids.

NWO Orthopedics and Sports Medicine, 132 Garau St., will host fall-themed games and prizes.

The Swiss Community Historical Society at 8350 Bixel Road will host farm animals, dulcimers and fiddles, kid’s games and activities, wagon rides, horse plowing, blacksmithing, corn-shelling, bread making, fishing in Riley Creek, needlecrafts, popcorn popping, woodworking demonstrations and food for sale.
