Ottawa EndZone finalist for award

OTTAWA — Heritage Ohio named The Ottawa EndZone a finalist for the Best Downtown Placemaking Award, per an announcement from GoOttawa on Tuesday.

The statewide Main Street coordinating agency will decide between three finalists including Ottawa’s downtown area at its award ceremony from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 15 at the Midland Theatre in Newark.

The ceremony is free and open to the public and kicks off the organization’s annual conference to honor the “people, places and projects that exemplify a commitment to growth through preservation and revitalization.”
