Lima Municipal Court receives grant

LIMA — The Lima Municipal Court has been awarded a $285,466 grant from the Department of Health & Human Services — Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration to benefit both judges’ treatment courts in the municipal court.

This is the first year for the grant of a five-year grant cycle. The grant was received due to the efforts of Lima Municipal Court Chief Probation Officer Marjean Warren and Drug Court Officer Goia Coleman.

Treatment court assists people in the criminal justice system in completing treatment and rehabilitation.
