LIMA — The City of Lima announced the appointment of Mayor Sharetta Smith as co-chair of the Substance Use Disorder Prevention and Recovery Task Force for the United States Conference of Mayors.
Smith will serve on the task force with co-chair Mayor Steve Williams of Huntington, West Virginia as it focuses on enhancing prevention programs, increasing access to treatment and advocating for policies to support long-term recovery.
