WAPAKONETA — The Ohio Local History Alliance informed the Auglaize County Historical Society that the Auglaize County 175th Anniversary Celebration received an Outstanding Achievement award in the category of Public/Programming/History Outreach Division.
The county celebrated 175 years in 2023 with a yearlong series of events, programs, and activities.
Auglaize County Historical Society director, Rachel Barber, said, “We are happy and honored to receive this award from the state. We have been happy to work with and for our fellow Auglaize Countians.”
The award will be presented at the OHLA Annual Meeting Awards on Saturday, Oct. 5 at the Quest Conference Center in Westerville.
