LIMA — Alexiv Allen, Phyllis Henderson, Jeannine Jordan, Rebecca Kreher, Nell Lester, Shawn Russell Jr. and Catheryn Sarno addressed Lima City Council at a special meeting Wednesday night.
The Fourth Ward residents shared their qualifications to become the ward’s next representative on council, but the attending members and council president Jamie Dixon did not reach a decision on an appointee.
Dixon said no candidates can be eliminated yet, and council should reach a decision in the coming weeks.
Council will meet at 7 p.m. Monday, Aug. 19 for a regular meeting in council chambers at 50 Town Square.
