Hardin Memorial to host lung cancer screenings

KENTON — Hardin Memorial Hospital will hold a lung cancer screening event from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 24 at 921 E. Franklin St. in Kenton.

The OhioHealth hospital will offer early detection for the deadliest form of cancer in the United States.

Screenings are recommended for people between the ages of 50 and 80 who have a 20-pack a year history of smoking and are covered by most insurance providers and Medicare.

Anyone who has an order from their physician to participate in the screening can register by Aug. 23 by calling 419-675-8181.
