Hancock County meat-packer issues voluntary recall

VANLUE — Ridge Meats of Vanlue in Hancock County has announced a voluntary recall of 100 pounds of meat snack sticks packaged July 11 that may be adulterated with Listeria monocytogenes.

Subject to recall were 4-ounce packages containing D&H Smokies with Cheddar Cheese Meat Snack Sticks labeled Hot.

The product was sold through Arnold Vending at FMT, Inc., located at 2000 Industrial Drive and 1700 Fostoria Avenue, both in Findlay.

The meat snack stick products subject to the recall bear establishment number “78” inside the Ohio mark of inspection and a “packed on” date of 07/11/24 on the front of the label.

There have been no confirmed reports of adverse reactions due to consumption of these products.
