Lima Memorial plans lunch and learn on childhood hunger

LIMA — The Lima Memorial Emerging Philanthropists and Children’s Hunger Alliance will discuss food insecurity during a luncheon from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 15, at Lincoln Park, located at the corner of Shawnee and East Elm Streets in Lima.

Participants who wish to eat during the event should bring their lunch.

Donations are accepted to benefit the Children’s Hunger Alliance, which provides healthy foods, nutrition education and physical activities to children in need.
