Lima man pleads guilty to lesser charges

LIMA — A Lima man pleaded guilty to charges of trespassing and criminal mischief Monday in the Allen County Common Pleas Court, less serious charges than his indictment showed.

Lewis Parker, 72, was indicted on burglary, a second-degree felony; grand theft when the property is a firearm or dangerous ordinance, a third-degree felony; and theft, a fifth-degree felony. Those charges were dismissed when he pleaded guilty to the fourth-degree felony and misdemeanor charges.

Judge Terri Kohlrieser will sentence Parker on Sept. 12.
