LIMA — Lima Family YMCA will hold the 40th annual Lima YMCA/Kewpee Triathlon/Duathlon at Ottawa Metro Park at 8 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 11. Following the event will be an additional 1k Kids Fun Run at 10:30 a.m.
A bounce house and Kona Ice truck will be present to honor the 40th annual event.
The triathlon includes a 500-yard swim, a 15-mile bike ride and a 5K run. The Duathlon consists of a two-mile run, a 15-mile bike ride and a 5k run. The swim will take place in the Lima Lake Reservoir, the run will be through the park and Ottawa River path, and the bike ride will begin in the park and circle north in a 15-mile loop.
Tickets are $90 for individuals and $100 for teams.
