OTTAWA — GO Ottawa will be holding its annual Kids Fest event from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 10 at Memorial Park in Ottawa, near the caboose.
This free event will include hands-on activities, a touch-a-truck, a bounce house, a junior high chalk art contest, a football pass game and other activities. Performances by Den of the Tiger, the Ottawa-Glandorf Marching Band, the Dance Center and Putnam County Children’s Theater will also be included in the event designed to connect kids to community organizations, programs and businesses. Hot dogs will be provided by the Lions Club.
Parking for the event will be available in the Ottawa pool parking lot.
