LIMA — A residential fire in American Township on Saturday night resulted in approximately $400,000 in damages.
The American Township Fire Department responded around 8:30 p.m. Saturday to a house at 3985 Chestnut Oak Trail, owned by Rickie Clay, for a fire that originated in a bedroom at the back of the house. No residents were home at the time and no injuries occurred.
Lima, Shawnee Township and Delphos fire departments responded as mutual aid. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
