VAN WERT — The Van Wert County Agricultural Society will hold elections for six representatives this year.
Those positions include at-large Van Wert County; Washington Township; Van Wert; Hoaglin Township; Tully Township; and Northern Region.
The agricultural society manages the Van Wert County Fairgrounds.
Candidates must purchase an active membership certificate, complete 10 hours of voluntary service to the society and attend one regular board meeting in the year they are seeking election to qualify for election.
Prospective candidates should collect at least 10 valid signatures from society members from the region they are seeking to represent.
Petitions are available from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday in the fair office, 1055 S. Washington St., Van Wert.
