VAN WERT — Model train enthusiasts will want to be in Van Wert on Saturday and Sunday as the Van Wert County Historical Society hosts the 21st annual Van Wert Railroad Heritage Weekend.
The event will run from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday at the Van Wert County Fairgrounds, 1055 S. Washington St., Van Wert. The event will include more than 250 tables with model railroad and train bargains, as well as several large modular model railroad layouts. The historical society will also provide a food court for attendees.
Admission is $6 for adults and free for children 12 and younger as well as for Scouts in uniform. Parking is free for the event. For more information, contact Chuck White at 260-760-1666 or at [email protected].
