St. Rita’s Thrift Store plans back-to-school sale

LIMA — The Mercy Health-St. Rita’s Thrift Store will sell discounted school spirit wear during its back-to-school bash from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, July 27, at the store, 528 W. North St., Lima.

The thrift store, which is managed by hospital volunteers, sells discounted brand-name clothing, furniture, household goods, sporting equipment, books, electronics and other items.

“Our commitment to the community resonates through our diverse and affordable offerings, catering to every family member’s needs,” Julie Bame, volunteer coordinator, said in a news release.

The store accepts credit card payments, cash and checks.

The store is open 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesdays; 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesdays; 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Thursdays; 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Fridays and 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturdays.
