WAPAKONETA — Former NASA astronaut Carl Walz will make an appearance at the Armstrong Air and Space Museum as part of this year’s Summer Moon Festival on Saturday, July 20.
Walz will cheer on runs at the Run to the Moon 5K/10K and then move to a meet-and-greet session inside the museum at 500 Apollo Drive in Wapakoneta from 11 a.m. to noon before moving on to one at the Heritage Park gazebo from 2 to 3 p.m. at 30 E. Auglaize St.
Walz will be the guest of honor at the Astronaut Mix and Mingle event from 6 to 8:30 p.m. inside the museum.
