OTTAWA — A Columbus Grove woman took a plea deal for a charge of drug possession Thursday in the Putnam County Common Pleas Court.
Elyssa Gutierrez, who will be 23 soon, pleaded guilty to a third-degree felony of drug possession rather than the second-degree felony on which she was indicted.
The indictment said Gutierrez was found with 27 grams of methamphetamine after a traffic stop.
Judge Keith Schierloh ordered a pre-sentence investigation and will sentence Gutierrez on Aug. 22.
