Midwest Electric donates to West Central charities

CRIDERSVILLE — The village of Cridersville, Cridersville Police Department and Crossroads Crisis Center are among the latest recipients of Midwest Electric’s Community Connection grant fund.

The electric cooperative recently donated $1,000 to the village to install a handicap push-button at the municipal building entrance, as well as $800 to purchase a video surveillance system for the Cridersville Police Department and $2,000 to support domestic violence survivors at Crossroads in Lima.

Midwest Electric donated $15,475 to 17 charities in the West Central Ohio region.

Other recipients include SAFY, Autism Life Center, Friends of the St. Marys Theatre, St. Marys Middle School, the Spencerville Police Department and Van Wert County YMCA.
