Mercy Health buys CT scanner for Delphos ambulatory center

DELPHOS — Mercy Health-St. Rita’s Medical Center installed a new computerized tomography scanner at its Delphos Ambulatory Care Center.

The $1 million investment in a CT scanner provides the Delphos facility with “enhanced imaging capabilities, shorter scan times, increased comfort and improved efficiency,” the health system announced in a news release Monday.

“This new technology, combined with the comprehensive array of services offered at the care center, means Delphos and the surrounding area community residents can stay closer to home for the care they need, providing easy accessibility,” Cindy Wolfcale, director of imaging for St. Rita’s, said in the release.

“Not only does this investment benefit the care patients receive by providing advanced imaging resources, but it also signifies a deep commitment to the Delphos community.”

The ambulatory center also provides diagnostic x-rays and mammography services.
