COLUMBUS — State Rep. Roy Klopfenstein, R-Haviland, has announced the passage a bill that will bring updates to facilities in Fort Jennings and Van Wert.
Passed Thursday, Substitute House Bill 2 will secure funding for a bridge replacement at Fort Jennings Park, renovations at Northwest State Community College’s Van Wert Campus and an extension of the Van Wert County Airport runway. Funding for these projects will take up $9 million out of the total capital funds allocated in the bill.
The bill will go to the governor’s desk next.
