LEIPSIC — Cole Niese, of Leipsic, earned the top score of his graduating class from the Northwest State Community College Law Enforcement Academy.
Niese, one of nine graduates who completed their training at the school this spring, scored 97% on his certification exam.
Isaiah Rittenhouse, of Cloverdale, also was recognized as a graduate.
Graduates must pass the state exam and meet physical fitness requirements.
