OTTAWA — Go Ottawa announced its reception of a 2024 #AARPCommunityChallenge grant Wednesday to conduct three bike audits along paths throughout the village of Ottawa.
The village’s strategic plan highlighted the paths as future trails and common bike commuter routes, and the audits will observe and document the “bikeability” of a location in partnership with the Putnam County Health Department, the county’s council on aging and the Medical Reserve Corp. from July to September.
The village will hold a public meeting to share results with the community.
