LIMA — Lima Memorial Health System is now accredited by the American College of Surgeons Commission on Cancer.
The health system underwent “rigorous evaluation” and performance reviews to ensure compliance with the Commission on Cancer’s standards, according to a press release.
“This prestigious recognition demonstrates our unwavering commitment to providing exceptional, compassionate care to our community,” Brittany Zeigler, a certified nurse practitioner for Lima Memorial’s cancer program, said in the release.
The health system also achieved recognition as an ACS Surgical Quality Partner.
