LIMA — The Area Agency on Aging 3 is seeking new members for its advisory council and board of directors.
Candidates must be a resident in the agency’s service area, which includes Allen, Auglaize, Hancock, Hardin, Mercer, Putnam and Van Wert counties.
Minorities and older adults living in rural areas are encouraged to apply, as are individuals with a background in accounting, business or health care.
The board of directors consists of 11 members: one member from each of the seven counties and four at-large members who may reside in any of the seven counties.
Each appointment is for a three-year term.
The board meets at 9:30 a.m. the fourth Tuesday of each month, while the advisory council meets at 10 a.m. on the third Wednesday of every other month.
