Leipsic man indicted on vehicular homicide

OTTAWA — A Leipsic man was indicted last week in the Putnam County Common Pleas Court on a charge of vehicular homicide, a fourth-degree felony, after a crash that occurred on April 25.

On the day of the crash, Ramon Ramos-Villa, 45, was traveling westbound on county Road M south of Ottawa and failed to yield at the stop sign at the intersection of Old state Route 65 and was struck by Andrew Ellerbrock, 31, of Ottawa, who was traveling southbound on Old state Route 65. Ramos-Villa’s vehicle then overturned. His passenger, Feliciano Ramos-Villa, 34, of Pandora, was pronounced dead at the scene.
