WASHINGTON, D.C. —Sen. JD Vance, R-Ohio, announced legislation to eliminate all diversity, equity and inclusion programs from the federal government Wednesday.
Vance sponsored the Dismantle DEI Act with Congressman Michael Cloud (R-Texas), Sen. Marsha Blackburn (R-Tenn.), Sen. Bill Cassidy (R-La.), Kevin Cramer (R-N.D.), Eric Schmitt (R-Mo.), Rick Scott (R-Fla.) and 15 other members of the U.S. House of Representatives.
