Mullins to retire from Marsh Foundation

VAN WERT — Kim Mullins will retire from the Marsh Foundation on June 30.

Mullins led the Child & Family Services division of the Marsh Foundation for 29 years.

The former music teacher worked as a consultant for group home and foster care divisions and as a certified instructor of the Crisis Prevention Institute before becoming executive director of child and family services.

“I am so grateful that the Lord gave me so many opportunities to serve in the helping profession,” Mullins sad in a news release about her retirement. “Praying for the organization has been a practice of mine as well as many others here at Marsh.

“We see so many disheartening and impossible situations,” Mullins said. “In those times I remember the words of Christ, ‘With me this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.’”

A reception for Mullins will be held from 1-3 p.m. Wednesday, June 26, in the Marsh cafeteria, 1229 Lincoln Highway, Van Wert.
