LIMA — Mercy Health will host a Juneteenth event from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday, June 19 at Mercy Health-St. Rita’s Medical Center, 730 W. Market St., Lima.
The medical center’s Community Impact team will have food and activities to celebrate the day the orders of the Emancipation Proclamation reached the last enslaved people in the southern United States.
