LIMA — The Allen County Council on Aging will hold a Caring for the Caregiver support group meeting for those caring for people with Alzheimer’s disease or dementia at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, June 20 at 700 N. Main St., Lima.
This free event will host a representative from the Alzheimer’s Association of Northwest Ohio to speak about understanding the two diseases and effective communication strategies. The support group also provides emotional and social support along with educational materials. No reservations are required.
