LMHS workers wear red for heart disease

LIMA — Lima Memorial Health System employees will wear red Friday, Feb. 2, to raise awareness for heart disease and stroke, two of the primary causes of death for women.

“We have an unwavering dedication to our community’s heart health and care,” Dr. Pamela Gardner, Lima Memorial Health System cardiologist, said in a press release.

“By wearing our red, we hope to spark those important conversations surrounding heart disease and stroke prevention, such as establishing heart-healthy habits and knowing your risk for these conditions.”
