LIMA — The city of Lima is preparing for the change of seasons. Leaf pickup is set to begin in just a couple of weeks.
“Starting on the 13th we will be going through the First, Fourth, Fifth, and Sixth Wards,” Deputy Public Works Director II Warner Roach said. “We ask everyone to pile their leaves on the curb lawn and not in the street. It is really important to get to that. Pickup in the Second, Third and Seventh Ward will occur as the crew progresses through the season.”
According to a recent press release, leaf bags are available at 900 South Collett St or 424 North Central Ave. To receive a bag, community members must provide a copy of their water bill.
