LIMA —The Salvation Army is asking for anyone interested to sign up for Christmas Assistance to visit saangeltree.org or sign up in person Nov. 15 from 9 a.m. to noon and 1 to 5 p.m. at the Salvation Army at 614 E. Market St. in Lima.
Applications online are open until Nov. 15 for families in need of food and children 12 and younger in need of toys.
Allen County residents must bring a photo ID, birth certificate for youths, social security card, proof of address, proof of income for the last 30 days and a list of bills/expenses for the last month to be eligible for the program.
