LIMA — The Lima Memorial Foundation held a fundraiser Thursday as the foundation seeks $500,000 in funding to establish a dedicated observation unit at Lima Memorial.
“An observation unit will increase our ability to care for observation patients, especially those presenting with cardiac symptoms,” Dr. Mehran Arabpour, a cardiologist and medical director of the Chest Pain Center, said in a press release Thursday.
“This will eliminate the need for our family, friends and neighbors to travel outside of the region to receive the care they need.”
