Lima man sentenced to 18 years for cocaine trafficking

LIMA — A Lima man found in possession of 300 grams of cocaine last October will spend at least 18 years in prison.

Allen County Common Pleas Court Judge Jeffrey Reed sentenced Christopher Clary on Monday to a minimum of 18 to 23.5 years in prison after Clary pleaded guilty in July to trafficking in cocaine with a major drug offender specification, as well as possession of cocaine and engaging in a pattern of corrupt activity, all felonies.

Clary must forfeit two handguns and report to parole authorities for two to five years after his release from prison.

Reed found Clary indigent and waived two $10,000 fines imposed by the court against the Lima man.
