Electric Aggregation coming to Lima

LIMA — Electric Aggregation in the city of Lima is now underway. According to a recent press release, the initiative was passed in the May election by a 68% vote. The release also states the program will reportedly save community members around $55.20 per month. Community members can opt out of the program.

“I am glad that residents will be able to see savings on their monthly residential electric bill as a result of this program,” Lima Council President John Nixon said in the release. “Going forward, I hope the City of Lima will investigate Natural Gas Aggregation and present the residents with the opportunity to save money on their monthly gas bill.”
