VAN WERT — An infusion of $500 in grant funding is coming to Van Wert Live events.
The Midwest Electric Community Connection Fund announced the award to be delivered to the Van Wert Area Performing Arts Foundation Wednesday.
Participating members of the fund will see their donated cents from rounding up their electric bills every month go toward this fund to make the arts more accessible for low to moderate-income families.
The Community Connection Fund Board of Trustees reviews applications and awards the funds to charitable groups and worthy individuals throughout the region.
