Oravitz elected chair of OMA board of directors

LIMA — Jeffrey Oravitz, of Lima and CEO of Seal for Life Industries and Arsenal Captial Partners, will assume a position as the new chair of the Ohio Manufacturers’ Association board of directors, the association announced Thursday.

The board, which is made up of 28 manufacturing leaders from across the state, elected Oravitz to replace Dale Laws, the vice president of manufacturing operations for Whirlpool Corporation, who will continue serving as immediate past chair for the board.

Oravitz holds a master’s degree in business administration and a bachelor’s degree in chemistry from the University of Pittsburgh. He has been vice chair for the board since 2021 and been on the board since 2019.

Rodney V. Cundiff, senior business development specialist for Cenovus Energy, will be the new vice chair.
