LAFAYETTE — An Allen County resident has written a book on the Mandela Effect, a situation in which a large mass of people believes that an event occurred when it did not.
“Breaking Reality: Inside the Mandela Effect,” written by Anthony Duran, was published April 29 and is available on Amazon.
Duran, an Army veteran who attended school at Shawnee and Lima Senior, lives with his wife and three children in Lafayette.
Amazon’s description of Duran’s book poses the question: “Have you ever experienced a memory that doesn’t quite align with reality? Have you ever been certain that something happened, only to find out that it didn’t? If so, you may have experienced the Mandela Effect.”
The book explores the history of the Mandela Effect, possible causes and implications for man’s understanding of memory and reality.
