Mail carriers to host food drive

LIMA — The United States Postal Service and the National Association of Letter Carriers will be hosting their 31st annual Food Hunger Drive this weekend. On Saturday, community members are invited to leave a food box next to their mailbox for mail carriers to pick up. According to a recent press release, the event has collected over 1.82 billion pounds of food nationally since it started. The food will go to local community members who are in need.
