LIMA — Senator Sherrod Brown (D-OH) has announced that five airports in northwest Ohio will receive Federal Aviation Administration grants for repairs. $735,787 in total funding was awarded through the FAA and the Department of Transportation.
“Ohio airports are vital infrastructure supporting travel and commerce in our state,” said Brown in a recent press release. “These investments will enhance safety and operations at Northwest Ohio airports and improve travel for area residents and businesses.”
• Bluffton Airport received $310,159
• Putnam County Airport received $153,000
• Lakefield Airport received $94,950
• Van Wert County Airport received $89,676
• Lima/ Allen County Aiport received $88,002
