LIMA — The Lima Allen County Regional Planning Commission is encouraging youth to utilize active transportation. The organization is hosting a meeting for youth at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 22 at City Council Chambers, 50 Town Square.
Community members ages 12-17 years old are welcome to join the Allen County Bike and Pedestrian Task Force created by LACRPC. According to a recent press release, the hope of the force is to encourage youth to share their vision, dreams and desires related to walking or biking in Allen County. The group may be a source for service hours. Food will be provided at the meeting.
