VAN WERT — A possible hand grenade was found during remodeling on Tyler Street on Monday, according to the Van Wert Police Department.
According to a media release, the Lima Bomb Squad was called in to investigate. The squad could not determine if it was real or not with “100% certainty” at the location and removed it for safe detonation.
No one was reported injured.
