Winter Tennis Camp

1 to 2:30 p.m. Saturday

Want to get your 10 to 18-year-old introduced to tennis? The Lima Area Tennis Association is holding a free four-week, seven-session winter tennis camp starting Saturday at Westwood Tennis and Fitness Center, 3101 W. Elm St., Lima. Tennis shoes will be required and for those who do not own a tennis racket, one will be provided. To register, contact Westwood Tennis and Fitness Center at 419-222-1515. Photography Exhibit Opening Reception

6:30 to 8 p.m. Saturday

ArtSpace/Lima will hold an opening reception for its annual Juried Photography Exhibition from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Saturday at its Town Square gallery. Over 100 works from area photographers will be on display and food from Trevor Remy of “Little Taste” will be included. Awards for Best in Show, as well as first, second and third Place, black and white, color and a youth category will be announced at 7:15 p.m. The display will continue to be available for viewing from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday until Feb. 4.

Community Christmas Dinner

11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday

The severe winter storms forced the Lima Community Christmas Dinner to be postponed. It will now be held from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday at the Lima VFW Post 1275, 124 E. Elm St., Lima. Get those bonus tastes of the season with a full holiday meal featuring turkey, ham, mashed potatoes and gravy, side dishes and desserts. This dinner remains free to the public, and free rides to and from the dinner will be available courtesy of Black and White Cab.

Winter Chill Piano and VR

5 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday

The Lima Public Library, 650 W. Market St., will hold a Winter Chill Piano and VR event Wednesday featuring pianist Terri Crosina Spencer. This event will create a relaxing space to enjoy music, read, visit quietly with friends or bring and create an art project, all while enjoying refreshments. The music can also serve to help enhance the user experience on the library’s Oculus VR system, which will also be available.

Step Afrika! in Findlay

6:30 p.m. Wednesday

Get ready for an exciting evening of rhythm and dance at “Step Afrika!” coming to the Marathon Center for the Performing Arts, 200 W. Main Cross St., Findlay. For more information on the event and to purchase tickets, go to http://www.mcpa.org.
