LIMA — Activate Allen County is partnering with Mercy Health-St. Rita’s Medical Center to sponsor a faith community challenge.
The annual 2022 Activated Faith Community Challenge is an opportunity for faith-based organizations or churches to focus on health. Organizations can apply for the $1,000 grant to promote overall health and wellness. A total of 10 organizations will be awarded. The Mental Health and Recovery Services Board of Allen, Auglaize and Hardin counties plan to give support as well.
Whether choosing to host a walk or provide healthy food options, organizations have an opportunity to be creative.
