WOHL increases power in transmission tower

LIMA — WOHL television has increased its power from 11,500 watts to 15,000 watts. The power increase, done on March 17, is the maximum allowed by the Federal Communications Commission for a Class A Digital Television station.

You can find the digital over-the-air stations on 35.1-ABC and 35.2-CBS.

Due to the power increase and the previously installed translators in Minster and Leipsic, the WOHL signal can reach from Wauseon in Fulton County to Sidney in Shelby County.

WOHL is owned by Block Communications, which also owns WLIO-NBC and Fox in Lima.
