LIMA — The Salvation Army in Lima will take applications for those seeking assistance in the Coats & Christmas program on Oct. 12 to 14 for those living in Allen County.
Hours will be 9 to 11:30 a.m. and 1 to 4 p.m. Oct. 12 and 13 and 9 to 11:30 a.m. and 1 to 6 p.m. Oct. 14.
Applicants will need the following information:
•Proof of household members (driver license or identification card, Social Security cards for adults, school identification or birth certificate for children).
•Proof of income for last 30 days (pay stubs or approval letter for SSI/SSD).
•Proof of expenses (rent receipts, utility receipts and other recent statements).
One person per household may apply. If you are signed up for Christmas assistance through another organization you cannot apply, but may still receive a winter coat while supplies last.
